Hawaii

Working on planning a trip to the Hawaiian islands?  Looking for a red eye flight is a great idea since these type of flights are a good way to save travel time by sleeping while onboard.  And it's also great to arrive early in the morning at one's destination airport to get a fresh start to a vacation.  Redeye flights are also sometimes cheaper than flights during the day.

One of the challenges of finding a red eye flight to Hawaii from the continental US is that these flights are westbound, and red eye flights typically are used on eastbound flights.  Since there are very few redeyes to Hawaii, to get one a traveler may have to connect into a city that does have a Hawaii redeye flight (into Honolulu).  Let's look at which cities have such flights as of the time of writing this post.

There appears to be a redeye flight from Las Vegas to Honolulu LAS to HNL which departs LAS late in the evening / very early morning around 1:55am arriving HNL at 5am.  With a duration of around 6 hours (time change), that is an ok amount of time to get some sleep on the flight. This flight only appears to be available some days of the week (not every day), e.g. available for Sunday very late night / very early Monday departure. Hope you're able to find a good red eye flight to Hawaii.
